Getting PHCC

You have two options:

  • build it yourself
  • Buy it

Buying it

I occasionally sell boards and/or kits. Sometimes even completely pre-soldered and tested systems. But due to the open nature, others can sell boards and kits themselves. Here is a list of people that sell PHCC boards/kits/systems:

Building it

All the designs are freely available for download, so you can etch your own boards, or have the boards professionally made at a PCB production facility. Or you can buy boards at one of the above mentioned vendors. Then buy all the parts (see the Bill of Materials files for each board) and solder everything together. Board assembly tutorials are available for several boards.

Solder.png This section explains how to put the parts together. Soldering may be required.

Assembly Services by Others

To have your kit built by others (usually for a fee), look below for offers.

John Steensen

Another option for those who are not experienced or uncomfortable with soldering PCBs is being offered by John Steensen (jrsteensen) on viperpits.org. (http://www.viperpits.org/smf/index.php?topic=4222.0) He is offering Assembly Services. You order your PCBs and components, and he will solder them together and test the boards and return them to you for a nominal fee. All details (price/contact info/etc.) can be found in the above thread.
