Troubleshooting
From PHCC
Mainboard:
I. Analog inputs are "jittering": Sometimes analog inputs are jittering all the time without any reason. Help: Use jumper / bridges on every analog input, which isn't in use. Put the jumper on every pin#1 & pin#2.
""Key64-Daughterboard:""
II. Ghost-effect of inputs:
If you have connected only one switch (e.g. toggle, rotary, momentary, etc.) to
your Key64-Daughterboard, and you use it (e.g. turn it to ON),
and there are more connections showing as ON, this would be called Ghost-effect.
It can also happen if there are more switches than only one attached .
Ghosting will show closed electrical circuits - even if they aren't existent or not closed.
Help:
1. Check the soldering points on your Motherboard.
Sometimes two soldering points are connected by accident.
2. Check your flatcables from Motherboard to Key64-Daughterboard.
Sometimes there are two or more wires connected by accident.
Often happens if the connector isn't is attached 100% correctly.
3. Check your flatcables at Key64-Daughterboard.
Sometimes there are two or more wires connected by accident.
Often happens if the connector isn't is attached 100% correctly.
4. Check your common and other connections at Key64-Daughterboard.
Crosscheck with the wiring diagram on this page.
Are the common pins attached to the correct corresponding connection-pins?
Are your connection pins all attached correctly?
